We would like to introduce TEXAS ( Trivandrum Expatriate Association) a prominent Pravasi Association registered in Trivandrum that successfully completed 20 years while ensuring active participation and contribution to the Arts, Culture, welfare, contribution, and development of Trivandrum District without bias, discrimination, colors, religion, cast, politics etc. In addition, TEXAS always supports the infrastructure development of Trivandrum with Governing authorities and business Investors. During this 23 years journey, we have contributed and participated in many leading cultural and social activities with the presence of high dignitaries, celebrities, and other leaders from all fields. In addition, TEXAS has established a Global Committee led by Mr. K.K. Nazar linking Trivandrum expatriates worldwide lead.
TEXAS (Trivandrum Expatriates Association) the association of expatriates from Thiruvananthapuram, the capital district of Kerala, is dedicated to working for the benefit of the people of Thiruvananthapuram and for the expatriates working in the UAE. The association works for bringing unity among people, takes up developmental activities, and supports and extends help for the downtrodden people. Furthermore, it conducts social and cultural activities to uphold the values and traditions of the homeland.
Mr. Abdul Rahim Shaji, who has been an active member of the Dubai Unit for the past twenty years, is the President. Mr. Najeeb and Areesh are the secretary and treasurer of TEXAS. The Global Chairman is Mr. KK Nazar, Advocate Shri Najith is the Chairman of the Texas Advisory Board, and Mr.Abdul Kalam (popularly known as Stage Kalam) and Shahul Hameed are the Texas Patrons.
TEXAS also has a strong unit in Thiruvananthapuram District. TEXAS, which has over Three hundred members, plans to host the TEXAS Global Conference this year 2023 in the native city-Trivandrum.
